The exercise As agreed in the class, we replace the cancelled lecture of Wednesday, February 13 by the following exercise: - Read the background paper for the guest lecture by Xavier Carpentier: "Summary of Established & Emerging IP Business Models" by Raymond Millie and Ron Laurie, available from the patent troll tracker blog, prior to Xavier's lecture. - Prepare one question based on the paper. Write down the question together with your name on a paper sheet. I will collect all sheets at the end of the Xavier's lecture. Each student who does this exercise will be rewarded 2 points extra. Most of the students will also be given an opportunity to ask her/his question form Xavier so you could use this opportunity and think about your question. The paper is also required material for the exam. And since economics is all about incentives, you could also think about my incentives to prepare an exam question based on a guest lecture...
