Exams will take place on March 4, April 14, May 21 (please check the dates with HSE)
- Max points 60
- 4-5 questions
- At least one question comes form the guest lectures, at least one from Välimäki's lectures
- At least one involves some algerbra/numerical examples
Required material for the exam includes
- Lectures (including the guest lectures), their background material (e.g. Millie&Laurie's paper related to Carpentier's lecture is required material fully)
- Scotchmer's book except for Chapters 8 and 9 (Note: you can make an essay of these chapters)
- Bob Hunt (2007) "Business Method Patents for U.S. Financial Services", Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia Working Papers 07-21.
This is related to my lecture on IP in financial services and replaces the paper by J. Lerner. in the list of required material for the exam.
