- Max points 60. (Essay 40)
- At least one question comes form quest lectures, at least one from Välimäki's lectures
- At least one involves some algerbra/numerical examples
Required material for the exam includes
- Lectures (including the guest lectures), their bacground material to the extent related to the lectures.
- Scotchmer's book except for Chapter 8.
- Lerner's (2002) Journal of Finance paper on finance patents to the extent related to Lectures 12-13, Part IX: Innovation and IP in Financial Service Sector.
